FedNor is an initiative of the Government of Canada aiming to address the economic development needs of Northern Ontario. Working with numerous partners, and through its programs and services, FedNor helps fund community projects as well as others initiatives designed to improve the economic and social well-being of the North as a whole. The Atikokan Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit , community based corporation. We are governed by a fifteen member Board of Directors who are elected at the Annual General Meeting for a three year term. The Atikokan Economic Development Corporation works to promote the community and area. We also work to maintain and recruit business to the community.
